# Your position

Portfolio shows your holdings, active requests, and claimable payouts. Rows for vaults marked Insolvent are hidden, including Ready to claim rows. Portfolio value, cost basis, PnL, and charts still include those vaults and their losses within the selected chain filter. Visible token and request counts describe only the displayed rows.

Use a direct token link to reach a hidden vault's history and existing buy, sell, and claim actions. Hiding changes list visibility; it does not cancel requests or restrict contract calls. Lists update after a successful refresh.

| Balance          | Meaning                                                     |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Wallet tokens | Available in your wallet. |
| Locked tokens | Submitted for sale but not yet settled. |
| Unclaimed tokens | Minted and ready to claim. |
| Pending buys | Committed to a buy request that has not settled. |
| Claimable USDC | Settled sale proceeds awaiting delivery or manual fallback. |

Your token position includes wallet, locked, and unclaimed tokens. Do not add those amounts to the position total again.

**Value** uses the latest NAV. **Unrealized PnL** compares that value with remaining cost. **Realized PnL** compares settled sale proceeds with the cost of the sold shares.

These figures depend on available history. Transfers and missing data can make cost and PnL incomplete. They are not guaranteed sale quotes.

## Charts and activity

Portfolio's **P\&L** chart combines realized gains or losses from settled sales with unrealized gains or losses on remaining shares. It includes exited positions and settlement fees, excludes wallet gas, and uses lifetime cost basis. Deposits and withdrawals are not gains. Missing prices or cost basis leave gaps.

The **Value** chart shows shares at indexed NAV, including locked and undelivered shares. It excludes wallet USDC, pending buys, and settled sale payouts. Transfers and settlements can change this value, so it does not measure investment returns. Both views offer 1D, 1W, 1M, and All periods and follow the selected network filter.

Choose **Activity** beside **Current Position** for your deposit and withdrawal requests across pools, newest first. Refresh updates the list; Load older activities retrieves more history. The table uses UTC timestamps and shows request status, USDC, and shares. Pending amounts marked estimate are not final payouts.

On a pool page, switch the chart between **Share price** (actual NAV in USDC per share), **Total value** (pool backing in USDC), and **Underlying asset** (a selected market's USD price). Choose 1D, 7D, 30D, or All. Where available, **Strategy ROI** shows a hypothetical replay, not actual pool performance or your personal return; see [Basket estimates](/takes-docs/concepts.md#baskets-and-public-pools). Missing points and failed refreshes can leave gaps or saved observations.

See [NAV and TVL](/takes-docs/concepts/nav-and-tvl.md#nav-and-tvl), [Request status](/takes-docs/reference/status-reference.md#request-status), and [Analytics](/takes-docs/analytics.md) for platform-wide activity.

## Compare live exposure

The basket uses immutable **notional weights**, comparing each configured asset's absolute exposure with total configured exposure. Basket leverage is configured gross exposure divided by equity. Observed asset leverage uses its derived capital allocation, so it can be compared with that asset's configured leverage.

A target asset with no position shows zero exposure when account data is available. Missing account or market data shows unavailable values. Direction is shown separately; a matching percentage does not make an opposite-direction position correct. Positions outside the basket remain visible in total account notional and are excluded from target comparisons.

See [Trading and rebalancing](/takes-docs/concepts/trading-and-rebalancing.md#trading-and-rebalancing) for triggers, target sizing and reasons actual exposure can differ.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://takes.gitbook.io/takes-docs/holders/understand-your-position.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
