# Explore tokens

Use Explore to compare published baskets by market, direction, and backing. You can browse without connecting a wallet. A basket appears before its first pool is deployed; open it to compare public pools and choose a network and effective leverage.

Search by basket name, share name, or thesis. Select one or more markets to find baskets containing any selected market, then filter by Long, Short, or Mixed direction and network. Sort by Newest first or Highest backing. Remove individual filter chips or choose Clear all; the URL retains the filters for sharing or returning to the same view.

Open a token and review:

* **Basket:** markets, long or short direction, weights, and target leverage.
* **Thesis:** the creator's explanation of the strategy.
* **Fees:** buying and selling costs.
* **NAV and TVL:** value per token and total backing.
* **Live positions and activity:** how the account compares with its target.
* **Network, address, and data timestamp:** confirm what you are viewing and how recent it is.

The displayed price is NAV, not a guaranteed execution quote. Authors can publish basket edits as new versions for future pools; each existing pool keeps its original version, thesis, icon and composition.

Explore lists baskets once, including ideas without pools. Network filters include baskets with deployments on that network. Pools marked Insolvent are hidden from pool lists; a newly created pool may still be activating.

A vault is marked after six consecutive valid minute observations spanning at least five minutes with backing capital strictly below 1 USDC and positive outstanding shares. Unsettled requests and unreliable data break the streak. A mark stays in place after a balance recovery.

Marked vaults are hidden from token lists. Direct token links remain available with Insolvent and the recorded reason. History and existing actions remain available. Hiding does not block investment through direct links or contract calls.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://takes.gitbook.io/takes-docs/holders/explore-tokens.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
